Why PAPYRUS means so much to me!

The first time I tried to take my own life I was 15.At the time, I didn’t know that I was struggling to live with acute childhood trauma and CPTSD 💔

Emotional & physical abuse were my ‘normal’, I was told I was a waste of space and, I believed it💔

My stomach was pumped, a parent appeared, didn’t look at me, asked how I could do that ‘to her’ & left.

The next day, I was released back into her ‘care’.I don’t think I’d of contacted a charity, I don’t think I felt deserving of help.

But someone around me might of thought I was & PAPYRUS would have shown them how to best support me 💛

I’m so incredibly thankful they exist educating, talking, supporting 🙏🏻

But suicide is still the biggest killer of under 35’s in the UK.I never thought I would reach my milestone birthday this week 💗

So, if you were thinking of sending a gift or buying me a drink, please donate here instead. It would mean the world to me, every single penny helps 🙏🏻

Thank you & for being in my world 💝 xxxx

It’s a magical place that frightened & oh so vulnerable teenager had no idea existed ☀️PAPYRUS help other young people to the other side of hope too x💛x💛x
